Alexander Calder’s “Circus”

An exhibition of work from the sculptor Alexander Calder's "Paris years" of the 1920s-30s is on display at the Whitney Museum in New York. It's looking like I'll be in NYC for a few days in January, so I'm excited to see it myself, although unfortunately I won't have our daughter Z in tow.

Here's an example of one of Calder's magical works from this period: A "circus" manipulated by Calder himself.
